BASED ON REGIONAL ACT NO. 04

SECTION 7.  Organizational Structural.  -  The Regional Planning and Development Office shall be headed by an Executive Director with the following divisions:

 
a.
Macro-Economic Planning Division
 
b.
Economic Planning Division
 
c.
Social Planning Division
 
d.
Infrastructure Planning Division
 
e.
Financial and Administrative Support Division

SECTION 8.  Office of the Executive Director. -  The Office of the Director shall be composed of the Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director and Secretary.

The Office of the Executive Director shall have the following functions:

a.
Advice and assist the Regional Planning and Development Board in the formulation and implementation of policies, plans, programs and projects;

b.
Office;
 
c.
Coordinate all national and foreign assisted projects, and;
 
d.
Perform such other duties and responsibilities  as may be assigned by Board to promote efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of public Services or as may be assigned by law.

SECTION 9.   Macro- Economic Planning Division. -  The Macro- Economic Planning Division shall have the following functions and responsibilities:

a.
Coordinate for the Regional Planning and Development Board  all integrated and comprehensive planning,  programming and  regional budget preparation activities:

b.
Coordinate researches and  statistical  activities  as required  for planning, policy formulation and project development;

c.
Assess development  performances and extend technical assistance to local government  units,  development  authorities  and  sectoral  agencies  in  the Autonomous Region;

d.
Coordinate  the preparation  of socio- economic profile,  annual medium  and   long term plans, climatic maps and at lasses for the region;

e.
Coordinate all National and Foreign assisted projects;

f.
Perform such other functions as may be directed by the Executive Director and other competent authority

SECTION 10.  Economic Planning Division. -  The Economic Planning Division shall have the following functions and responsibilities:

 
a.
Coordinate the formulation and assessment of the economic sector development plan, programs, policies, guidelines and priorities for the consideration of the RPDB;
 
b.
Evaluate and monitor proposed and on–going agricultural and industrial programs and projects in the region;
 
c.
Provide and technical assistance on matters relating to economic developments;
 
d.
Coordinate economic planning, investment and programming, budgeting, project development, preparation of progress and performance reports for the consideration of the RPDB;
 
e.
Perform other necessary functions as may be directed by the Executive Director and other competent authority.

SECTION 11.  Social Planning Division.-  The Social Planning Division shall have the following functions and responsibilities;

a.
Coordinate the formulation and assessment of social development plans, programs, policies, guidelines and priorities for the consideration of the RPDB;

b.
Evaluate and monitor proposed and on–going social development programs and projects in the Autonomous Region;

c.
Provide technical assistance to social development concerns of regional agencies and local government;

d.
Assist the RPDB in the preparation of progress and performance reports    on the social development sector, and;

e.
Perform other related functions as may be assigned by the Executive Director and other competent authority.

SECTION 12Infrastructure Planning Division.- The Infrastructure Planning Division shall have the following functions and responsibilities:

a.
Coordinate  the formulation and assessment of infrastructure development plans, programs,    policies  guidelines    and priorities for the consideration of the RPDB;

b.
Evaluate and monitor proposed and on-going infrastructure development programs and projects in the Autonomous Region;

c.
Provide technical assistance on matters relating to infrastructure development for the region;

d.
Assist the RPDB infrastructure investment programming, budgeting and other development ,and;

e.
Perform other related functions as may be assigned by the Executive Director and other competent authority.

SECTION 13Financial and Administrative Support Division. -The Division shall have the following functions and responsibilities:

a.
Provide support services relating to personnel, staff development, records, management, supplies and equipment, budgeting and accounting, collection and general clerical and utility services; and

b.
Perform other related function as may be assigned by the Executive Director and other competent authority.
